Definition of “Trike” Noun: trike: - a vehicle with three
wheels that is moved by foot pedals. Synonyms: tricycle, velocipede I
think someone had forgotten the part about huge gas guzzling engines as well,
especially the four-litre twin turbo behemoth that was there, it was something
else. The
cold damp day possibly kept the numbers down, but tricyclists are made of
sterner stuff and splashed their way round the north circular to the ace café.
Outside the machines pinged and steamed away as their engines cooled in the
rain, inside the café there was the unmistakable aroma of damp biker, but the
mood and atmosphere was fantastic. I
met up with Yoda, Creature, Pagan flame and Sludge from the Forums, and all was
well with the world. There
were several professional gold wing trikes that leave lots of room for the air
brusher’s art.
Personal
favourite was a huge 4.7l wonder, with more seating capacity than a London bus.
It was a shame about the weather but a great way to spend an hour or so. and over the road, a Polish wildstar with the most amazing crashbars
