West Country August 2007
As ever a good idea for a few days away, head to the Sunny West Country firstly for the VSOC "Swiggin in the riggin rally" Held at Cambourne RFC a cracking venue, but sadly now in my view a tad crowded with all the large Gazebos and fenced areas but the weather was glorious and Friday and Saturdays Bands were brilliant Saturday we went out to Marazion and Saint Michaels mount Sunday I led round the windy roads to the Lavant tin mine where they had a beam engine working. click on picture for gallery. Lots more pictures on the VSOC Site Link After the rally ended on the Monday I carried on with a few others to a campsite just off of Lands End, even more sunny days, good company and some excellent ice creams. We were camped next to Paul's brothers Farm hence the pictures of pigs. I left on the Wednesday as my bike was due for service on the Thursday, and Visited Boscastle and the Museum of Witchcraft on the way back. The service was great, but i did find out you need petrol to run a motorcycle as was the first time in 26 years of riding bikes I have run out of fuel.
