NEC Bike Show
went
to the bike show on press day
not a huge amount of wow factors or in fact bikes seems to be halls and halls of
helmets
it seems that there is a conservatism on some of the bikes and very few big
innovations this year
However stand out bikes for me, were, the new Norton, ok so it looks like an old
Norton with a modern twist, but is that soo bad?
I sat on the Triumph Thunderbird, which was showcased last year and was very
impressed at how slim it was.
The
BMW 6 was a great concept with some lovely touches
Especially
the styling touches of the pipes matching air pipes and engine
I was not so sure on the Victory Core which looked unfinished.
A Viper v10 engined bike on the Carole Nash stand was very tidy
The classics and drag bikes were much the same as previous years
And
the Custom Extreme run by BSH provided shiney glittey bits, the nex lamb
engineering CBX was sweet, along with some seriously turbo’d and charged bike,
cool
Nick sanders stand grows and grows though as he promotes his tours more
and there were some great metal modelling
in the end I didn’t actually spend anythiing
but a good day out though
, even though Yoda wheeled me off my feet
