Hastings mayday run

Ah the joys of a mayday weekend, visions of people dancing round Maypoles, the first cream teas of the season, spring flowers and the first warm spring sunlight on our backs.

Reality check 2012 and ever since the drought was announced, and dare we say it the cricket season started it has been wet, very wet and cold. So venturing out on the bike on the Monday I dug out all winter gear.

 I even found an unexpected windmill on the way home.
