This event is fast becoming my official start of the season do, and a chance to use the funky Docklands Light Railway even though its weird to have a train with no driver. For those who like to ride to London, motorcycle parking is free and undercover, but its an easy trip by train and leaves me room if I wish to go shopping at all.

Unlike the NEC show in November, which I enjoy for different reasons, what I like about this event is there is more local interest, the classic auction, the in-house racing and obviously the custom and café racer show; which this year was sponsored by Spada Motorcycle Clothing. This not only showcases some of this year’s early blooms before hitting the seasons shows, but also had a wonderful eclectic mix which is what I love about our scene now.
